V1.3 March 6th, 2023
This version fixes minor bugs to the UI and error dialogs and adds First Flight calibration to the top right icon menu.
First Flight Calibration: After you turn on the drone for the first time or replace the battery, you will want to perform this quick first flight, a quick lift off and land on the helipad to get the compassed initialized. Without this, your first circle may be a bit non-circular. Learn more on page 7 on the user guide.
DJI Mini 2 update: We are still working with DJI everyday to resolved there firmware issue on the Mini 2. Issue: From time to time (or potentially frequently), the DJI Mini 2 is not able to transfer video files to the tablet application (360 Drone Booth software). So as suggested below in the V1.0 release notes, if you have a event within the next 2 to 3 weeks, the DJI mini SE is a better choice to allow your sharing station to work without issue. You can read more here:

All notes from the V1 releases are still valid.
V1.0 January 30th, 2023
This is the first fully stable release. All main functionality has been verified.
Known issues:
As of January 30th, 2023, the current DJI Mini 2 firmware is known to have file transfer issues. From time to time (or potentially frequently), the DJI Mini 2 is not able to transfer video files to the tablet application (360 Drone Booth software). This issue is known by DJI, and we are in contact with them everyday, sometimes twice a day. It is assumed that this firmware release will happen very soon (any day).
There are two solutions to the above DJI firmware issues:
Purchase a DJI Mini SE (in addition to the DJI Mini 2 or in leu of the DJI Mini 2). The only caveat of the DJI Mini SE is that the video feed to a potential external monitor may be lower quality compared to the DJI Mini 2’s video feed.
Continue using the DJI Mini 2, and when a file transfer issue occurs, you will issue an app reset (about 10 seconds), to attempt to transfer the file.
Solution 1 may be the best option for two reasons, one it is always good to have a second drone, 1 DJI Mini 2, and the back up drone being a DJI Mini SE.
Future Feature Enhancements
The below are feature enhancements that are being investigated for inclusion in future releases.
Ability to select when to start and stop the video recording during the flight path (instead for the full 11 second video)
The accompanying Windows PC app that allows passing to Dzen Tech, Snappic, PicpIcSocial, etc to be converted to a GUI based app (instead of the current command line version).
Ability to reset the app within the app.
Additional flight patterns
Ability to adjust height of flight (3 to 5 feet vs the default 4 to 4.5 feet)
Landing adjustments - if you are in an environment that has the drone always landing one side of the helipad, the ability to make minor corrections in how the landing sequence is performed.
